Bow Making and Wreath Making From January 2024

Here are pictures from the wreath making I did in January 2024. I make bows using my Bowdara then I tied them onto a wreath forms to making wreaths. The first wreath I made by decorating a green wreath was old and coming apart, so I took it apart then re-decorated so I can still use it. Below are pictures of the wreaths I made:

Attended Birch Biting Crafts Class At Celebration Of Nations in September 2022

In September 2022 when attending Celebration Of Nations at First Ontario Performing Arts Centre in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada; I attended a birch biting crafts, which was lots of fun.

The teacher said as they are so many different kinds of birch trees not all them can be used for birch bitting, and there is certain times of year you need to get the bark before the sap gets in between and because to hard to bite but than it is great for making canoes. And the birch bark is waterproof too.

Below are pictures of me at the birch biting crafts class.

I STILL HERE!!!/Still Doing Crafts

I STILL HERE!!! I know that it has been awhile since I blogged anything on doing any craft projects. My last was post was in 2020 but I have still been busy working on doing crafts such as bow making, wreath making and more.

For those who following my Dixon/Dagenais Genealogy Blog know that back in March 2023, I had to have carpel tunnel surgeries on both wrists, March 1st for the right wrist and March 15th for the left wrist. So I was one handed for a month and was off work while I was healing from carpel tunnel surgeries. So I was not able to do crafts or use the computer while I was healing from my surgeries. Once I was able to go back to work at the end of April 2023, I wanted to ease back into my hobbies of doing crafts and working on genealogy, so I wouldn't have issues with my wrists again or cause my carpel tunnel to return.

Made A Valentine For Maj. Bill White

Here are pictures of Valentine Card for Maj. Bill White. I made this Valentine Card at a scrapbooking classes years ago. The card was cut into the shape of a heart, along with two paper circles, and then a red heart card to go over top but making a long drop so it looks a woman's chest.
